Mothers are special because they sacrifice a lot for their children. They take care of them when they are hungry, sick, and need advice. I see a lot of mothers struggling with taking their children to the babysitter, day care or school early in the morning and after that they have to go to work. They are here for you in times of need and they provide a shoulder to cry on. Mothers give their children unconditional love and remember you only have one mother.

I love clothes, shoes, hats and handbags:

            I love clothes, shoes, hats and handbags. Its important to wear the proper attire if you are a plus size woman. I myself, have problems with finding the proper fashion apparels for my size. I shop at many department stores and for some reason all you find are clothes to fit average people. Or sometimes, they have a small section for plus size women. And sometimes those attires are ugly. I say, to find  a clothing store that focus on plus size women attires. If you are a plus size woman, please wear decent clothing. Wear clothes that fit over your knees and cover your arms down to your elbows. I love to match all my clothes with my shoes and handbags. If you are a plus size woman like myself, please don't wear clothes that don't fit you right. A lot of plus size women are beautiful. I myself always try to dress appropriately to fit my body size. I always try to wear decent clothes. If its a dress or skirt, make sure it covers below your knees because when you sit down your dress or skirt will rise up. Also make sure the pants fit properly and not showing every parts of your body or your underwear line. There are stylish hats, dresses, skirts, blouses and pants to fit the plus size woman. You just have to know where to shop. Good Luck!

Weight Loss for women




Life experience: I have been struggling with my weight for a number of years. As a teenager, I was a size 7/8 up until my twenties. I started putting on the weight in my thirties. Now I am a size 20. I try to walk a lot every day and on my lunch hour. I try to eat right every day and three times per day. I would have a snack when I come from work. I try to eat smaller portion, but I get hungry again. So I would eat some fruits or nuts in between. I really hate going to the doctor sometimes because each time they weigh you I feel down because I put on a few more pounds. I would ask the doctor's assistance to take off a few pounds for my clothes. She would take off 2 pounds and wow I am still overweight. 


Now I am learning to eat better and to watch my weight. I would eat about three fruits that can fit in the palm of my hand. I would cut down on my calorie intake. You can make changes to your diet by cutting down on your calories. Sometimes I am hungry and I have to eat. Sometimes I snack out of habit without paying attention to my appetite. My problem is I love to eat a buttered bagel every day. When I cook, and the food is really good I tend to eat seconds. I know that this is not good. I can't help myself. My food is tasty and good. A lot of times, I tend to get hungry after 9 pm and I can't go to bed hungry at all. I am trying to eat healthy snacks in between so I would not get hungry before bed time.


Well I have some tips to reduce your weight: First of all start to eat smaller portion of food. You have to eat a spoon of rice, one piece of meat and half plate of vegetables and drink a glass of water after your meal. Also try to maintain a 1500 calories diet. Take your time and eat slower, chew your food well.

Exercise your weight down: After reducing your calories - try regular exercise. Try to exercise for about 30 minutes three times per week. Try working on, push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, squatting, jump rope, jumping jacks, lifting weights, jog, yoga, Pilates and dance.



Performing a simple weight routine three times a week will keep you toned. And increase the number of calories you burn.

How are you?

Ladies, I know that you all have busy schedules with your families.However, make it your duty to get your check ups. Ladies get your check ups whether for a mammogram, annual physical, gynecology,
or colonoscopy. Also remember to check your breasts each month-with self help exam. Its important to get your check up and stay in good health. Ladies get your annual physical to check your blood pressure, diabetes, urine, blood work and your heart. Its absolutely imperative that you all get your system (bodies) check each year. Lord knows that we all need to get our rest and make time for ourselves. Please make the time to get yourselves check up. Please drink a lot of water, eat fruits, veggies, exercise and eat right. Ladies take care of yourselves.
